UPDATE*****

So the Costume is almost finished here is a pic -

So I'm attempting to make my first body armour cosplay costume
ever! I'm making Masane Amaha's Red WitchBlade outfit,
and I'm hand sewing everything since I don't have a sewing
right at the moment, though I've found sewing it by hand
is really rewarding.


So here's the costume -

Though I'm altering it so that the chest isn't so open and
I'm revealing myself all over the place, also I'll be raising the crotch
and wearing a black material under the stomach.


This is what I've done so far -

Here are the should parts these took forever to sew
when I first started I haven't hand sewn in so damn long, so
it took ages to get into a rythm that suited me, but I made it!

This is part that goes on the legs, claws and the witchblade, it
was to hard to cut the witchblade out exactly the way it needed to
be so I had to do what I could, also I still need to stick a jewel
or bead or something in the middle of it. Also the claws look weird
but once I attach them to the body suit they will make sense

Here are the leg parts that go from near her crotch and down her
leg, with the spike bit on the knee, I have to do the bit that
goes round to her back side seperate once I get the body
suit to make sure it gets positioned properly.

This is the design for the stomach part that I need to cut out,
once the body suit arrives I can get started on that.

Started working on the blades today, this is the basic cut out for
blades, ganna stick something down the middle so they don't
curve and stay straight when I attach them to my arm. Also I'm
going to be seeing if I can paint them a metalic color.
